I’m Monica Turner, and New Tricks Pet is my home-based pet care business in Cheyenne. I offer personalized pet sitting in my home, with a meet and greet to help us decide whether my home suits your dog.
Pet care & overnight stays
Care for the pet in front of you
For overnight care, your dog (or cat, or maybe even another critter!) stays at my home. Before a stay, we’ll talk about their daily routines and what they’re comfortable with.
Management is part of training
A gate, a little distance, or a quiet resting space can give a dog room to settle. I use positive reinforcement and teach useful alternatives in manageable steps, such as resting on a mat while someone moves around the house. Comfort and safety guide what I ask of an animal.
Practical training help
Online coaching
If you’re stuck on a training question, it can help to talk through what happens before deciding what to change. I can help you consider management, rewards, and useful alternative behaviors that fit your pet and your daily routine. Get in touch so we can discuss whether online coaching is a useful fit.
Seasonal agility access
Jumps with Weaves
My seasonal setup includes jumps, weave poles, and tunnels. It’s a place to enjoy working with your dog without needing club membership or plans to compete. Ask me about the current season and whether the setup is suitable for you and your dog.
